[:de]Mittwoch, 17. Januar 2018. Es hat ein paar Jahre gedauert, aber nun gibt es hier tatsächlich auch mal wieder ein neues Buch zu lesen. Es ist wiederum, wie könnte es auch anders sein, ein experimentelles Werk; zweisprachig, undeutlich, eklektisch, metamodern. Dazu ist The Grotto auch bereits einigermaßen historisch, denn es spielt in einer Zeit, die lange vergessen und wirklich kaum noch vorstellbar ist, Amerika vor Donald John Trump. Tja Bro, those were they days!
Besonderer Dank gilt an dieser Stelle Pietro O’Rourke aus Hamtramck, Michigan, für sein geduldiges Lektorat, Gonzalo de la Fuente aus Köln für das tolle Cover und nicht zuletzt Sebastian Schellenberger, der das Projekt mit großer Freude zu beenden wusste.

The Grotto is an experimental piece of work, as to be expected, it’s bilingual, molecular, hazy and metamodern, of course. On top of that, The Grotto is somewhat of a historic document by now, written down in the last days of what they call the Pre-Trump America, long lost and forgotten.
Special shoutouts go to Pietro O’Rourke from Hamtramck, Michigan, for his patient editing, to Gonzalo de la Fuente for the groot cover drawing, and last but not least to Sebastian Schellenberger from Heidelberg, for his loving care on the difficult homestretch in the printing process.
